The Nordic network for quantitative proteomics is a network that has been established with an aim to develop and transfer cutting-edge knowledge about quantitative measurements of proteomes to the research community in a timely fashion. In doing so the network aims to bring quantitative proteomics to new levels of proficiency and accessibility in the Nordic region, Europe and elsewhere through co-ordination of the following activities:
- To provide key courses addressing the current and future needs in QP
- Coordinate meetings on QP applications and technology
- Incorporation of courses with other national and international organisations such as the EuPA and the HUPO
NordForsk and this web site
This web site stems from a community need to have information on quantitative biology at the protein level for diverse applications ranging from cell biology to molecular medicine. Initial funds for this initiative have been provided by NordForsk, a Nordic organisation which aims to strengthen and further develop the Nordic region as one of the most dynamic regions in the world for research and innovation.
